I’m running the Leeds half marathon for my Grandma who was diagnosed with terminal oesophageal cancer, she recently joined Charlotte Straker a local care home and charity located in Corbridge. We knew the first few week would be a challenge for her as moving into assisted living is a huge step but we couldn’t have been more lucky to have Charlotte Straker, this brilliant charity has made her feel right at home, with plenty going on, fantastic caring and attentive staff and a warm homely feel.
