I’ve decided to run the Great North Run for Versus Arthritis as my amazing girlfriend, Lucy, suffers from rheumatoid arthritis.

Research into this area has allowed medication to be developed that allows her to live an almost normal lifestyle, and I am forever grateful for this.

Although I’m not a natural runner, I decided to challenge myself and thought doing it for a good cause is even better.
