For my first ever Kiltwalk I will be raising money for LUPUS UK in memory of my mum, Isabel. Who bravely fought against Lupus until 2012.

12 years ago my world changed forever. My mum was taken from us too soon after a long and arduous battle with lupus. Her strength, courage, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire me every single day.

Lupus is a cruel and unpredictable disease, affecting millions of lives around the world. It doesn't just impact those diagnosed, but it touches the hearts of their families and loved ones as well. I witnessed firsthand the toll it takes on individuals and families.

This fundraising campaign is not just about honouring the memory of my mum; it's about making a difference for families like mine who are affected by lupus. It's about supporting Lupus UK's vital work in research, education, and patient advocacy.

I am passionate about this cause because I believe in a future where lupus no longer holds the power to devastate lives. Together, we can fund research that may one day lead to a cure. We can provide support and resources for those currently battling this relentless illness. And we can raise awareness to ensure that no one faces lupus alone.
