Story
Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) supports children and adults with sight impairments. What an individual may be able to see varies from person to person. That's why our support is tailored around the individual.
I am raising money for KAB by running the London marathon in 2026!
My cousin, Lennon, was diagnosed with Septo-optic dysplasia. This for Lennon means his optic nerves have not formed properly which has resulted in him having zero vision. He has severe growth hormone deficiency due to an under-developed pituitary gland, and he also has mid-line brain abnormalities.
Lennon's life so far has consisted of endless support from KAB for him and his family. This is why I would like to raise money for their charity, as a way of supporting Lennon and other people with sight impairments and their families too.
KAB have supported Lennon in so many ways, they have helped Lennon with cane training and provided his family with unconditional support. Everything KAB have done has helped Lennon to become the brave and confident boy he is today!
100% of the money I raise will go to KAB so they can continue to help Lennon and his family, giving him the best opportunities for his life ahead of him, as well as being able to help other families who need similar support!
Thank you!
