Isabella's fundraiser for Jewish Women's Aid (JWA)

Bella's Dorset Marathon Challenge · 22 June 2025
I’ve decided to take on another challenge by running the Cerne Abbas Marathon in Dorset on 21st June 2025. This time, I’m running to raise awareness and funds for Jewish Women's Aid, the only specialist organisation in the UK dedicated to supporting Jewish women and girls affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. The statistics are staggering – 1 in 4 women will experience abuse in their lifetime, and 1 in 5 women will experience sexual assault.
Since October 7th, Jewish women around the world have faced an unprecedented level of threat and abuse. The need for support has never been more urgent. Jewish Women's Aid plays a crucial role in empowering and supporting women and girls who are affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. They provide client-centred support, by women for women, and work tirelessly to increase awareness and education within the Jewish community to prevent violence against women and girls.
Although I am not Jewish, my proud Jewish heritage and deep sense of allyship with the Jewish community have inspired me to support this important cause. I hope that by doing so, I can help raise awareness about the vital work this charity is undertaking.
As ever, thank you so much for your support.
