I’m walking 50km for UgandAid – and I need your support!
On 20th September I’ll be taking on the huge challenge of walking 50km across the Peak District. I love walking, but this will push me well beyond my comfort zone — I’ve been training but, it won’t be easy.
I’m doing it for UgandAid, a charity close to my heart. UgandAid provides life-changing vocational training for young people in Uganda, giving them the skills, confidence, and hope they need to build a brighter future. Many of the students they support have lost both parents or come from the very poorest backgrounds. Education opens doors not only for them, but for their families and communities too.
Having travelled to Uganda with UgandAid several times, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible difference this charity makes. Your donations will go directly towards student sponsorships, vital renovation work, and the ongoing development of the institute. Every pound raised helps transform lives.
In February, I’ll be returning to Uganda to continue supporting this work on the ground, helping strengthen the links between the UK and the institute. But right now, I’d love your help to make this 50km walk count.
Please donate whatever you can — every penny truly changes lives.
Thankyou! Xx
