In September I am setting out to hike the 300 miles from my home in the New Forest to my sister's home in Cornwall, following the South West Coastal Path. I expect the walk to take 31 days.

I alternate between being super excited and then terrified!! It will be my longest trek ever by far, the first I time I have ever hiked solo, camped solo, and it will very much be mind over matter with my dodgy left hip.

I am hoping to raise £1 000 for Headway, a charity that was of great support to me following my bike crash in October 2023.
