London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

In 2026, over 300 MS Superstar runners will take on the London Marathon, to raise funds and awareness for the MS Society and to help stop MS. This is their team page.

Story

On Sunday 26 April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon, representing and fundraising for the MS Society. This charity funds research into MS cures and treatments, whilst providing vital support and information to those affected.

My incredible Mum, Michelle, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2009, when I was 8 years old. She has benefitted from the charities information and support over the last 16 years. They also enable her to take part in several clinical trials aimed at slowing the progression of MS, which has allowed her to take some control and make a real difference.

I know she shares my desire to find treatments and ultimately a cure for this disease, I am very grateful to have her support on this journey. I’m also grateful that she is letting me steal the shine on her birthday next year, as it falls on the same day as the Marathon - making it a very special day all round.

I have grown up attending the London Marathon to watch my Dad run three times, I am excited to be following in his footsteps and raise money for such a fantastic charity. I’m running for the MS Society because I’ve seen first-hand the impact MS can have and I’m determined to help change that for future generations.

As someone whose running career has peaked at a 5k Parkrun, this really is a tough personal challenge. During my training, your support and generosity will be invaluable to me. I am extremely grateful that with your kind donations, we can support the MS Society in their mission to bring hope, progress and ultimately a cure for all those affected by MS.

Thank you - it means the world! X
