Story

Hello, my name is Iseult O’Loan and in June 2025 I have been afforded the opportunity to travel with St. Louis Grammar school to Oku, Ghana where myself and a team consisting of my fellow students and teachers will work alongside the St. Louis sisters in their incredible projects. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to help those less fortunate than myself and together our group will strive to contribute positively to the local school and clinic, supporting the people of Oku in meaningful ways.

During our time in Oku we will be involved in and help various projects such as painting and planting to enhance both the school and clinic environments for the people. We will also be participating in workshops focused on Development Education where we will be sharing our talents and skills, learning from the community and sharing our knowledge, and helping to fund a small building project to meet specific needs within the village in Oku.

All funds raised will go directly to these projects, ensuring that every penny helps the people in Oku. Your support will make a real difference to the community, and I would be so grateful for any contribution you can offer.

Thank you for helping me to support the vital work of the St Louis Sisters in Ghana!
