In 2023, my community faced a loss none of us were prepared for… we lost a dear friend. The reality of the situation still has not kicked in. Benita was the most caring and kind hearted person- she lit up any room she stepped into. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet her knew this.

On the 13th of December, I will be taking part in my first ever Muay Thai fight. It is indeed nerve wracking and no doubt will be a challenge. But it’s all worth it. For Benita, it’s worth it.

Win or lose, it doesn’t matter. What matters is doing the right thing. This is for you Benita….love you always ❤️
