Living without a stable home is a challenge that many families across the world face. The physical and emotional toll of not having a secure place to call home can be overwhelming. My family is one such example. We are a poor family, and one of the greatest struggles we face is our inability to build a proper house. Without adequate shelter, we cannot lead a life of dignity, safety, or stability. Our story is one of hardship, but it is also one of hope—hope that with support and hard work, we can create a better future for ourselves.

Currently, we live in a small, dilapidated shack that is not strong enough to protect us from the elements. During the rainy season, the roof leaks, and when it’s too hot, the walls seem to trap the unbearable heat inside. We are constantly battling against the discomfort of this environment, which affects not only our physical well-being but also our mental and emotional health. This place does not offer us the safety or peace we need to thrive as a family. Every night, we go to sleep uncertain whether the structure will still be standing by morning.

My parents work tirelessly to provide for us, but the income they generate is simply not enough to cover the cost of building a proper home. Their jobs are not high-paying, and there are always bills to be paid and mouths to feed. With such limited resources, the idea of constructing a house seems like an impossible dream. We often find ourselves trapped in a cycle of poverty, unable to escape because of the lack of financial resources. No matter how hard we work or how long we wait, it feels like the dream of having our own home slips further and further away.

Our situation is not unique. Millions of families around the world struggle with the same challenge. The cost of building a home has skyrocketed in many areas, and it is often out of reach for people living in poverty. Even if we are able to save a little money, there are always other emergencies that force us to use what little we have for something else—like medical bills or food. The cost of land, materials, and labor continues to rise, and it feels impossible to catch up.

Building a house is not just about having a roof over our heads. It represents security, stability, and the chance to create a better life. With a proper home, we could focus more on education, health, and finding ways to improve our livelihoods. We would no longer live in constant fear of storms or poor living conditions. A house would provide us with the foundation to build a future where we can pursue our dreams without being held back by the limitations of our current living situation.

In conclusion, the lack of a proper home is a significant burden for my family. We are very poor, and the financial resources needed to build a house are out of our reach. However, we continue to hope that one day, with the right support, we will be able to create a stable and safe home for ourselves. Until then, we remain determined to work hard and dream of a better future, one where we no longer have to worry about the walls around us collapsing.
