Hi, I'm Isla and I'm 8 years old.

I have decided to take on a big swimming challenge to raise money for my Great Nanny.

My Great Nanny is sadly terminally ill with glioblastoma, and I wanted to do something special for her and show her just how much I love her.

So I've decided to challenge myself to swim 5 miles! 🏊‍♀️

That's approximately 322 lengths of my local 25-metre swimming pool — and I want to complete my challenge by 26th September 2026.

I've set myself a fundraising target of £500, and I'm hoping that my family, friends and anyone who would like to support me will help me reach it.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean so much to me. Even if you can't donate, sharing my page and helping me spread the word would be amazing.

I'm doing this for my Great Nanny.

I want to make her proud and show her that even though I'm only 8, I can do something big for someone I love.
