Cycling 1250km to Dublin in 4 Days

In March 2026, we will join a team from Dollar Academy, to take on Doddie's Triple Crown 2026 – an epic 1250km/800mi cycling challenge from Melrose to Dublin in just four days.

We are riding to raise vital funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, which supports research into Motor Neurone Disease. This devastating condition affects thousands of families, and every pound we raise will help fund research to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

We'll be riding through Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland, finishing at the Aviva Stadium in time for the Scotland vs Ireland Six Nations match. With more than 300km to cover every day, suffering is guaranteed!

Dollar Academy is aiming to be the first school ever to complete the entire route and hopefully will pave the way for young girls and boys to take on the challenge in future years. Isla is a former pupil of the school while Paul (Dad) is a support coach on the school's triathlon programme. Mum also teaches there too!

We're aiming to raise £50,000. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to that goal and supports crucial research that could change lives.
