Combat Childhood Cancer

Change through Partnerships
We have learned from our partners at the Shoe4Africa Children's Hospital that to fight cancer, you need to be strong. To be strong, you need to be nourished. To be nourished, you need access to nutrient dense food.
This is why the farmers from Shoe4Africa's Women's Empowerment program want to build greenhouses. These greenhouses will provide nutrient dense food to the FIRST and ONLY public children's cancer hospital being built in Eldoret, Kenya.
Our partner, Shoe4Africa, lives their mission to provide free, high quality health care to children in Africa. They are building the only public children's cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa, next to their public children's hospital in Eldoret, Kenya.
They are also committed to providing equal opportunities for women through their Women's Empowerment Program! The farmers, all survivors of domestic violence, are leading our partnership and sharing their expertise in the goal to provide nutrient dense crops to the first public children's cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa. This means 700+ meals a day; 4900+ a week; 19,600 meals a month!
Your donation will pay for:
✅ Irrigation & Piping
✅ A water Tank & solar pumps for a self-sustaining project
✅ Greenhouse materials and Construction

✅ Transportation to the children's cancer hospital in Eldoret
Why Now?
2.1 million people in Kenya's ASAL region (more than 86% of the country) are highly food insecure due to failed rains, low agricultural production and high food prices. Malnutrition is a complicating factor in patients' treatment at the Shoe4Africa Children's Hospital, especially in the treatment of childhood cancer, and is one of the leading causes of fatalities in children under the age of 5. We must act now.
How will this project grow?
* Nutrition and sustainable farming workshops for local schools.
* Additional income avenues for female farmers to become landowners.
* Financial stability through control of the growing environment.
* Food security through consistent food production.
➭ It is the fight against childhood cancer.
➭ It is the fight against malnutrition.
➭ It is the fight against inequality .
It is not just a greenhouse; it is a healthy tomorrow.
