Story
Last year I laced up my running shoes for the first time, never imagining I'd end up signing up for marathons. After completing the Paris Marathon in April 2026, I discovered something surprising... I actually enjoyed the pain (well, most of it!). So, naturally, I've decided to do it all over again by taking on the London Marathon in 2027.
This time, I'm aiming to raise £5000 for the NSPCC.
The NSPCC is a charity that's close to our family's heart. My mother-in-law, Helen, volunteered every Monday for nearly 15 years, supporting children facing situations that no child should ever have to experience. Seeing her dedication showed me just how much this incredible charity does for vulnerable children and families, and why it deserves all the support we can give.
If you can spare a few pounds, I'd be hugely grateful. Every donation will help the NSPCC continue its vital work.
And if supporting the NSPCC isn't enough to persuade you... surely the thought of a fat bloke dragging himself 42.2km around London in April is worth a donation on its own!
Thank you so much for your support—it really does mean the world.
