Hi ! My name is Isobel and next August, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust - an incredible organisation supporting young people with cancer.

Message from Teenage Cancer Trust

Every day, seven young people ages 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.

The amazing Dundee students are sending a team to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money and support young people facing cancer.

The Trek

Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world at 5895m. The climb involves six very long days, but no tougher than the challenge young cancer patients endure daily. Every donation goes towards vital care, treatment centres and support networks for these young people.

My goal is to raise £2980 for this amazing cause. All donations are hugely appreciated. I will be training over the course of the next year in preparation for the hike, so look out for updates on our Instagram page @izzy.becca.kilimanjaro25 for the journey and other mini fundraisers we will be organising throughout the year !
