I'm running my first ever marathon 3 days after my 57th birthday in New York! Apparently it's one of the hardest marathons so I need a really great "why" to spur me on. I'm running in support of JRWhippet Rescue, who have been helping whippets in need for over 50 tears. whippet.rescue.org.uk

I own the lovely Oscar the whippet, and I have to say they are am amazing breed: gentle, loving, sometimes mad and always trusting. Anything I can do to help JR Whippet rescue will be amazing.
