Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that exists to make life-changing wishes come true for the thousands of critically ill children across the UK. The power of a wish allows families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Story

Make-A-Wish® UK grant life-changing wishes for thousands of critically ill children across the UK. Sadly, the number of wish enquiries from seriously ill children with less than a year to live is rising fast. They need help to meet this urgent demand now - before it’s too late. For families with critically ill children, every day counts. Your support has the power to make a wish come true for a critically ill child, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

We aim to raise as much money as possible again this year by participating in two events at the Bridgnorth walk. The Bridgnorth Walk was established in 1967 as a way of raising money for local, national and international charities. In 2017 Bridgnorth Lions took over as organisers. The event regularly raises over £100,000 for good causes and attracts both competitive and weekend walkers who enjoy a wonderful community atmosphere.

Isabelle and Erin will walk the 7.06 mile Junior Bridgnorth walk. The route takes the Juniors to the very top of the Brown Clee hill, a very steep climb of 1230 feet (375 metres).

Jorge and Claire will walk the all-age Family Walk which will take them though some of the most stunning Shropshire countryside. This 5 mile on-road route draws you along picturesque country lanes.

Please help us to raise as much money as possible for make a wish UK.
