I have decided to take on the challenge of running the 2025 London Marathon to raise money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Rescue Home. After suddenly losing our beloved rescue dog Bella who brought so much joy to our family, I wanted to do something positive in her memory by raising money for rescue animals. The work that this charity provides for vulnerable animals is admirable and any donation would be massively appreciated.

Battersea will always be here for every dog and cat.

Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them.

They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law.

And they help other rescue centres and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.
