Story
It's often said that doctors make the worst patients, and that probably applies to medical students too.
Last summer, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Looking back, it had been building for most of my first year of medical school.
Our mental health is one of the easiest things to neglect, despite being one of the most important things to look after. Most of us in medical school will face imposter syndrome, anxiety, or other struggles that quietly chip away at our wellbeing, often while feeling like we can’t say so out loud.
Mindhealth exists to support medical students nationwide, and it's a cause that's extremely close to my heart. By fundraising for them, I hope to bring more awareness to an incredible organisation doing vital work, offering real help to anyone who needs it.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated x
