🚴♂️ It’s a Family Affair – Riding for Harlee’s Angels 💜
Next September we as a Family, father and two sons, Matt, Jack and Tom – will cycle over 335 miles from London to Amsterdam. We’re taking on this challenge as a family, for a cause that is deeply personal to us.
We are riding in memory of Harlee our beloved family member and for the amazing charity created in his name, Harlee’s Angels.
Why this means so much
Losing Harlee changed our world forever. It’s a pain no parent, sibling or family should ever have to endure, and yet it happens every day. Harlee’s Angels was born from that heartbreak to make sure no family has to walk this devastating road alone.
They step in to:
💜 Provide counselling and emotional support to grieving parents and siblings.
💜 Help with essential household costs when life is turned upside down.
💜 Offer breathing space for families struggling to cope with the unimaginable.
For us, this isn’t just a charity – it’s Harlee’s legacy, and a lifeline for others going through the same heartbreak.
Our ride, our promise
Cycling to Amsterdam will be tough, long days, sore legs, headwinds, and aching muscles. But none of that compares to the pain of losing a child. Every mile we ride will be for Harlee, and for the families who need Harlee’s Angels today.
We called our team “It’s a Family Affair” because family is at the heart of everything it’s where love begins, and where we find strength to carry on. This ride is our way of honouring Harlee, celebrating his life, and helping other families in his name.
