Founded in 1980 by parents seeking better education for autistic children, NEAS now operates 50+ sites from Northumberland to Teesside, with 1,250 employees dedicated to making a difference.

Creating Opportunities

Beyond direct support, NEAS promotes autism acceptance through training, advocacy, and campaigns like "1,000 Opportunities", which helps autistic people access employment and training.

With 20,000+ individuals awaiting diagnosis in the North East, your support helps NEAS expand vital services and create real change.
