We’re the Travelodge IT Team – a dedicated group of IT professionals who usually spend our days behind screens solving tech issues. But now, we’re stepping out of the office and onto the path to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation a cause that’s close to many of our hearts (pun intended!).

As a team, we’ll each be taking on the Chiltern 50's challenge by walking a distance of either 10k, 25k, or 50k — pushing ourselves to go the distance for a cause that really matters. We’re walking in support of life-saving heart research, and for all those whose lives have been affected by heart and circulatory diseases.

Whether it’s 10,000 steps or 50,000, every stride we take is powered by your support. British Heart Foundation funds ground-breaking research and provides crucial support to people when they need it most — and with your help, we can make a real difference.

A bit about our partnership with BHF:

Travelodge voted British Heart Foundation to be their charity partner in 2017 and over the years, the partnership has developed to be more than raising funds for the BHF.

Our lifesaving partnership has raised over £1million since launching in 2017 and trained over 6,000 people in CPR through RevivR, BHF’s online training tool.

As our partnership reaches it’s eighth year, we will continue to work together to save lives today through CPR and save lives tomorrow through vital funds raised. As well as continuing to improve the health and well-being of both Travelodge’s colleagues and customers.
