Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During Lent I will once again be doing more activities rather than eating less chocolate.
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition that causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time.
Both my Dad and my Father in Law had the condition which, along with Alzheimer's lead to a gradual loss of motor skills and brain function. Gradually their movements, memory and ultimately their personality was taken away.
Over the period of Lent I aim to walk, hike and cycle as far as I can with an initial target of 400km. That's 10km for each day of Lent. (O, so I WILL cheat a little and will do something on Sundays too!)
