** Where will your money go? **

Research shows there are 900,000 people living with dementia in the UK alone, with numbers predicted to rise to over two million by 2051. Thanks to your support, the charity are able to offer both help and hope to the increasing number of families affected by dementia.

*** YOU can pay the difference! ***

Those suffering with dementia (as well as their families) pay a huge price. Fortunately, every donation received makes a real difference. Here are some examples of how your donations can help:

- Every £1.00 received provides funding for groundbreaking research

Dementia is the UK’s biggest health and social care crisis. 1.6 million people are expected to be living with dementia in 2040. Your support can help reduce these figures.

- Every £5.90 Telephone Dementia adviser – call answered on the support line

When someone is worried about their memory it's difficult to know where to turn. But help is available from the very first concerns about memory loss. Trusted Dementia Advisers can help people understand their symptoms, and support them towards getting a diagnosis - critical for accessing the support that will help them live well.

- Every £12.14 received can fund a Companion Call

Caring for someone with dementia can result in loneliness and social isolation - particularly when caring for someone who is non-verbal. Having a weekly chat with a Companion Call volunteer can give people the opportunity to have a conversation about anything they like, offering a little bit of respite in challenging times.

Many thanks for your donation. Your support is making a huge difference to the 1 in 3 people diagnosed with dementia in their lifetime.
