This year's International Women's Day theme is #EmbraceEquity

Equity refers to fairness and justice and is distinguished from equality. It's not just something we say. It's not just something we write about. It's something we need to think about, know, and embrace. Equity means creating a fair and equal world.

We will be raising funds for Next Chapter, a charity providing free and confidential services to support people who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced domestic abuse.

"All the time that domestic abuse exists, individuals will need us to help make safety possible. With our support they are empowered to reclaim their lives & choose the next chapter in the future they want. We use all our donations to provide direct benefit for our clients, for example £5-10 enables us to buy a new SIM card for someone who needs a new telephone number, £20 pays for a therapeutic play session for a child, £30 pays for a person-centred counselling session for a survivor, £89 buys a Ring doorbell enabling a survivor to feel safe in their own home."
