Story
Hi!! My name is Izukanji Sikaulu and this upcoming April, I will be running my first official marathon in London for School Club Zambia. School Club Zambia is a charity that funds education projects in Zambian rural communities. Its mission is to support vulnerable schools in becoming financially sustainable, strengthen education, and create practical livelihood opportunities through entrepreneurship and literacy initiatives. Not only does this mission deeply resonate with me, I am also especially inspired by the charity’s focus on addressing the barriers girls face in accessing education and opportunity. As an infectious diseases physician, whose career has been shaped by the HIV epidemic, I have seen how education, confidence, and supportive communities can transform the lives of girls and young women, opening doors to healthier and more hopeful futures. Through this marathon, I want to champion the girl child and support opportunities for girls to learn, lead, and thrive. Please join me in advocating for the young Zambian by donating.
