I’m running the Manchester half marathon in October to raise money for Make 2nds Count. Make 2nds count is dedicated to supporting people with Secondary breast Cancer. They do this through funding research (which is currently very underfunded) and extending and improving the quality of life of patients living with secondary breast cancer which is treatable but incurable. Unlike those living with primary breast cancer, there is no end of treatment and no remission.

It’s estimated that 35,000 people are currently living with secondary breast cancer in the UK.

In June my family lost my Granny, the absolute life and soul of our family, to secondary breast cancer. Anyone who ever met her will know she was an absolute icon and she really did light up every room she walked into. She was my best friend.
