Story
In April 2026, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a cause incredibly close to my heart.
My lovely mumma was recently diagnosed with systemic sclerosis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes widespread fibrosis in the connective tissue and internal organs. Watching someone who has always been so active, capable, and vibrant have so much of that taken from her has been challenging.
Although treatments exist to help manage symptoms, there is currently no cure. I’m running to help raise awareness for a disease that too often goes under-recognised and under-funded, and to support the vital work being done to change that. The Scleroderma & Raynaud’s charity is making a huge difference through research, improved treatment pathways, and meaningful support.
If you’re able to donate anything, no matter how small, you are appreciated! Every contribution helps shine a little more light on this condition and reminds those living with it that they are not alone ❤️
