Story
In March, we are raising money for Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) — one of the charities that supported us through the most challenging times of our lives.
From 12 weeks into my pregnancy, we were told something might be wrong with our baby. What followed were countless tests — NIPT, specialist fetal medicine scans, amniocentesis, and detailed genetic testing — and an agonising wait for answers. During that time, ARC’s text helpline and online resources were a lifeline.
If you’d like to read more about our journey, my full story is shared on the ARC website — trigger warning: it’s very personal and may be difficult to read.

This March, we’re taking part in ARC’s Miles in March challenge, walking one mile every day. It may not sound like much, but while still recovering from a C-section and caring for a newborn, it’s a meaningful challenge for me.
Every year, over 20,000 parents in the UK receive unexpected or devastating news during pregnancy. ARC is the only UK charity providing independent information and emotional support through antenatal testing and its consequences. They are there for families facing the unimaginable — just as they were for us.
If you’re able to donate, you’ll be helping ARC continue their vital work supporting vulnerable and grieving parents when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support.
