Papyrus is a young person’s suicide prevention charity. That means we provide urgent support, education, campaigns and conversations that keep children and young people safe from suicide. And above all else, we’re here. We’re always here. That’s how we save lives.

Story

Izzy and Gabi have decided to take on a CRAZY challenge of running 100km in one day!

Izzy having recently lost a dear friend to suicide and known many others who have also been effected by young suicide we wanted to raise awareness. We have had friends who have lost friends to suicide and know teachers who have lost students - sadly we all know someone who has been affected. We wanted to raise awareness to the help and support Papyrus give to families, friends and those struggling with their own mental health. So many young, valuable and special lives are lost daily to suicide and we would like to help prevent this as much as possible.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £15 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you.

Any donation would be gratefully appreciated.

P.s. if anyone ever needs to to talk - we are always here :)
