Next year I'm running the London Marathon for for St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) Ltd because of the amazing end of life care my Gran received.

Sadly my Gran was diagnosed with incurable cancer in February 2019. The time she spent in the hospice prior to her death was peaceful, comfortable, and dignified. From the excellent clinical support to Gran spending calm moments in the wildflower meadow, the hospice helped make this difficult time more bearable. As a family we are all so grateful to the staff for looking after her and us so well. I have set myself a high target but am determined to raise as much as I can to ensure this valuable facility carries on helping families in the future, as end of life care is so important.
