This year, I’ve decided to take on a physical challenge to support the OSCAR Foundation, and I’d love for you to join me on this journey. For me, this isn’t just about fitness or testing my limits (though there will be plenty of that!). It’s about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with children in India who show immense courage and determination every single day just to stay in school.

One of the reasons I chose to support OSCAR is because of the way they use sport as a powerful tool to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. As someone who is passionate about sustainability and sport, I believe strongly in initiatives that don’t just provide short-term help, but instead build long-lasting impact. OSCAR does exactly that, combining education, life skills, and the power of football to break cycles of poverty and open up opportunities for the next generation.

When I push myself to go that extra mile, I remind myself of the resilience of these children. Their daily challenges are far greater than mine, yet they keep going, because they know education is their pathway to a brighter, more sustainable future.

Every pound, dollar, or rupee raised through my challenge goes directly towards making this possible. Your support helps fund classrooms, teachers, and football pitches that inspire children to believe in themselves. It shows them that people around the world care about their journey, that their dreams matter!

For me, this challenge is a reminder that endurance isn’t only about personal achievement. It’s about transforming effort into hope, sweat into opportunity, and goals into empowerment. Every step I take is fuelled by the idea that together, we can make a tangible difference in young lives, while also contributing to a vision of sustainable development that benefits us all.
