I've never been a fan of running - trying to catch a train or attempting to stop my son pull a vase onto his head over the past year is about the extent of it these days - but societal norms suggests I should be doing a half marathon once I'm in my 30s. So, I've bought some running shoes and decided to fundraise for a great charity where we found our beloved cat Mabel.
Since 1987, Blue Cross have been changing pets' lives by provides specialist care, services and support for pets and people throughout their life together. The help they offer includes veterinary treatment, finding loving new homes for pets, behavioural advice, support with pet bereavement and education for future generations.
Thousands of abandoned or unwanted, ill or injured, pets turn to us for help every year. Their doors are always open to them, and with your support, they always will be.
