We provide unique psychological support to families affected by the life-shattering & stressful situation of a young family member being diagnosed or living with a complex illness or disability. The Maypole Project is a local charity, supporting over 1,000 families across Kent & South of London.

Story

The Maypole Project provides family cantered emotional support, where a child/young person has been diagnosed with a complex medical need between 0 and 18yrs.

Based in South East London the Charity offers families can receive support from the moment of their child or young person’s diagnosis (or yet unnamed condition), including the antenatal period. Supporting the whole family including siblings, the ill/disabled child/young person, parents, and grandparents they stay alongside families for as long as is needed.

The Treasury Department will do two rides over the course of the summer through the Beautiful British Countryside, a 60 mile ride and a 150 mile ride to finish!!
