James Oglethorpe is delighted to announce a brand new fundraising event for all of the school to participate in and create some fantastic lifelong memories and a lot of mess.

On the 17th May we will be holding our 1st ever Colour Run.

There will be tranches of around 100 children who will run/walk a course over the school field. Along the way they will encounter various school representatives, and set stations for an explosion of colour.

There are two objectives

i) To ensure the children represent a rainbow for home time

ii) To have fun

There is one additional highlight as we have organised a teacher splat. To date we have 12 volunteers who will brave outcome of any collection jar decision….the three teachers with the highest amounts raised in their jars get splatted.

Feel free to sponsor your child and give a shout out to them and their class. There will be a prize for the highest fundraiser.
