IT’S A SHAME YOU HAD TO LEAVE THE PARTY EARLY PAUL.
On 7th September 2025, I’ll be cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats in memory of not only my husband, but a devoted father and a good friend to many.
Paul suffered with melanoma cancer for over a decade, but he never once let it break his spirit. He stayed upbeat through it all — always laughing, always looking for the next adventure, always kind. His attitude towards life was strong, steady, and full of warmth.
He was happiest outdoors — whether cycling through the Yorkshire Dales, hiking, walking, or going off-road. Nature was his escape, and cycling was something we often did together. This ride is for him. It’s my way of honouring everything he was — strong, free-spirited, and full of quiet courage — and continuing the journeys we used to take side by side.
It’s also a way to raise funds for Saint Michael’s Hospice, who supported Paul and our family with warmth, dignity, and care during his final chapter.
Paul may have left the party early, but the love, laughter, and strength he left behind lives on — through us, his family, and everyone who knew him.
Please SHARE and DONATE what you can — whether you knew him or not — and help more families find comfort in their darkest days.
