Simon and I will be setting off from Corfe Castle on 17th May to walk 100km along the rugged and beautiful Jurassic Coast for Dementia UK. Dementia has affected us all in some way watching our loved ones suffer and fade slowly away both physically and mentally is heartbreaking and a slow cruel end. We are slowly watching my Dad decline and hanging on to each moment we have left with him - from listening to music together , telling (very bad) Dad jokes and just talking to him ( whether he’s listening or not).
