Story
I'm embarking on a trek to Everest Base Camp 18 Oct - 2 Nov 2025, not only as a personal journey but in honour of my dear friend Michelle James, who sadly we lost & she gained her angel wings, 15 March 2022.
Sadly since launching this page I lost Arron McEneaney, on the 18 Jan 2025, to a sudden heart attack. He was as excited as I am about this challenge. Trained with me, full of encouragement, support and believed in me. I know he will continue this adventure with me and be by my side every step of the way.
This trek is both a tribute to Michelle and Arron's memories and a way to turn my steps into a force for good. Every mile, every challenge, and every breath taking view is dedicated to them, all the beautiful souls lost and all those who are facing their battle each day.
Through this journey, I hope to raise funds to support Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes.
Willen Hospice’s care touches thousands of local people every year.
They give comfort, ease pain and reduce anxiety for patients and their loved ones. Every pound given makes a difference - as it enables them to do more for more people across Milton Keynes when and where they are needed.
They receive less than a quarter of their funding from the NHS, which means the rest is donated or fundraised for by amazing local people. Which is why your support is so important and so appreciated – from everyone helped.
Every little helps and make a difference.
Thank you deeply for your donations and for joining me on this meaningful journey.
