I have decided to take part in Ford RideLondon-Essex 2024. I’ll be taking on the 100-mile route on the 26th May and raising money for the Active Essex Foundation. This is the charity attached to Active Essex who I work for, and in essence they aim to make Essex a place where young people can thrive, create a stronger sport and physical activity sector to aid youth crime prevention and the improve the physical and mental wellbeing of local people. I went into preparation as a complete beginner to cycling so this challenge is going to be a massive test of my mental and physical stamina! Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
