Throughout 2026, i will be taking on a variety of challenges, not only to test myself but to raise money for a disease that lives with me at home. Since her very early 30s, my mum has suffered from Psoriatic arthritis, a disease which causes severe joint pain, stiffness and swelling. After years of misdiagnosis and trialling different pain medications, she continues to suffer every day, all the while she still managed to raise a family and work a full-time job. Truly incredible❤️. Psoriatic arthritis is still widely unknown and doesn’t get the attention it deserves. My goal, through these challenges, is to raise awareness and money for Psoriatic Disease UK, the only patient-led organisation in the UK, to allow them to continue their excellent work of supporting people like my mum across the country.
