Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Dear Family, Friends & Supporters,

I am delighted to share that I’ll be taking part in the the upcoming 2024 TCS London Marathon raising as much as I can for the amazing charity that is Brain Tumour Research.

As many of you know, this is a charity that is extremely close to my heart having personally suffered from the disease in 2003.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

Brain Tumour Research receives no income from the Government, relying entirely on funds raised by supporters to help in the Charities mission to build a network of experts in sustainable research at their UK Centres of Excellence. It costs Brain Tumour Research £2,740 a day for one of these centres to remain open and carry out their vital work.

If you could please find it in your hearts to donate to what is a fantastic cause, the Brydon family and the Brain Tumour Research community would be hugely grateful.

Thank you
