Walk from Wembley to Fratton Park · 20 April 2025 to 21 April 2025 ·

Friends Fighting Cancer (FFC) is all about bringing people together to raise awareness and much needed funds for all those affected by cancer through events. Established in 2008 as a fundraising organisation, now a charity in our own right looking to grow and grow to build for a great future

Story

On Sunday 20th April 2025 we will be walking 71 miles from Wembley Stadium to Fratton Park with an aim of completing it in 24 hours. This challenge will be to raise money for Friends Fighting Cancer and their grant scheme. FFC are able to help families that are affected by cancer with grants to help them during their time of need.

Please read below for a brief overview of the FFC charity and if you are able to make a donation, no matter how small, please click the link to make a donation. Thank you. ⚽️💙

Football for Cancer was created in 2008, since then it has grown from a single tournament, to a Charity that has raised over One Million pounds for local Cancer charities and people. In 2019 we updated our name to Friends Fighting Cancer. This was to show that we have grown from just a football tournament into something much bigger

We support local families who are going through one of the toughest times in their lives. As a local charity we are able to act fast and can provide much needed funds via the Grant Scheme, sometimes in less than 24 hours. We provide directly to families to try and alleviate the financial burden that coping with this disease can cause. We also make regular donations to local and national Cancer charities working in our community.
