Story
England Deaf Rugby Union are taking part in the World Deaf Rugby 7s Championship tournament in Tokyo, Japan. I am currently in the extended training squad and hope to make the final squad.
This championship tournament is held every 4 years but the trip is entirely self funded. England Deaf Rugby Union is a registered charity and we receive no central funding, relying on our volunteers and players to raise necessary funds to enable our existence.
To support raising the funds, In April all players will collectively be running, rowing, biking and ski-ing the 6,000 miles to Toyko and I will be aiming to cover 156 miles.
