This year I am running the London marathon and am fundraising for Perseid School because it is a truly special place, dedicated to transforming the lives of children with severe and complex learning difficulties. As pioneers in specialist education, Perseid is more than just a school—it’s a community built on kindness, dedication, and a shared commitment to enriching every pupil’s life. With its pupil-first, holistic approach, the school nurtures confidence, independence, and joy in learning, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential in their own unique way. But what truly makes Perseid exceptional is its people—the staff, families, and supporters who work tirelessly every day to create a world of opportunity for these incredible children. I am running to help provide the specialist resources, sensory equipment, and experiences that make all the difference.
