Story
I am enthusiastically throwing myself off the roof of the new acute services building at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital to raise money for the Critical Care team.
My wife Mui was redeployed to the critical care unit during the Covid-19 pandemic and, much to her surprise, has remained there ever since. I am immensely proud of her and have therefore attached a particularly flattering photo of her!
Critical care is the new name for the Intensive Care and High Dependency Unit. It offers essential and highly specialised care to the most unwell patients at the the hospital. The staff all work incredibly hard in an emotional and demanding environment.
The money is being raised to fund a balcony garden for patients as well as a relatives room and staff rest area.
Thank you very much for your donation!
