It’s that time of year where we swap the warmth and comfort of our beds for a night outside in the cold, a reality that far too many have to face every single night. Myself and the rest of the Canny Cod team will be sleeping outside in the stands of St James’ Park stadium on the 21st March with nothing but sleeping bags, gaining a brief glimpse into the conditions that over 360,000 people in our country face daily. Donations will go directly to helping the homeless within Newcastle, the city I am at university at, through CEO Sleepout. Please donate whatever possible for a very good cause.
