Story
On 3rd February, I will be taking a leap of faith and participating in a skydive to raise funds and awareness for Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, a remarkable local charity that is dedicated to promoting mental health and supporting those in need within our community.
As you will know, I have worked at Hull and East Yorkshire Minds since 2015, and I see everyday just how valuable our support is to local people, their friends, family members and colleagues.
About Hull and East Yorkshire Mind:
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind is a leading mental health charity that has been providing vital support to individuals and families in the region for several decades.
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind's vision is to ensure that everyone experiencing a mental health problem receives the respect and support they deserve. They do this by offering a range of support services including one to one support and counselling, group support, housing. They also have a range of specialist services such as supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, and individuals experiencing drug and alcohol misuse.
Whilst affiliated with Mind, the national mental health charity, Hull and East Yorkshire Mind is a completely independent charity responsible for it's own services, fundraising and workforce - meaning any money raised is spent right here in Hull and East Yorkshire, for local people.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Please help me to make a difference.
