Story
In April 2025 I watched my sister complete the London Marathon and that has inspired me to do the same. I will be 2 days past my 18th birthday on the day of the run. This is a big deal for me as I suffered a triple leg break in late 2023 and am training as hard as possible whilst studying for my A-levels.
My Dad will also be running and despite his cycling achievements, in his own words, he is not a runner - so I’m sure he will also be very grateful for any support received.
Our combined fundraising target is £5,000 which will support the amazing people at Cure Leukaemia to trial and deliver life changing and life saving treatments.
Cure Leukaemia would like to say a huge thank you to all our runners who will be wearing our bespoke London running tops and heading to London, having trained for months to raise funds for the charity.
Each runner has their own unique reasons for running the London Marathon with Cure Leukaemia close to the hearts and we are so grateful to each and every one of the team.
