Story
On the 23rd of April I will be taking on a huge challenge.. running 5 marathons, over 5 consecutive days. Finishing with Manchester Marathon on 27th of April. This is all to raise awareness for lung cancer, a horrible disease which has recently hit very close to home!
On average 130 people are diagnosed with lung cancer every single day in the UK, with more and more younger people being affected.
The pain that the people battling the disease and the close family members around them go through is devastating.
Therefore I want to show my support and share some of that pain by running 5 marathons over 5 consecutive days. A total of 130 miles.
It would be great if people could please show their support and help me get through it by running some of the journey with me - whether thats 5k, 10k, half marathon, or even the full thing. Any support along on the way is much appreciated.
Any donations would also go a long way to help me get through it and more importantly, contribute towards incredibly important research to help find a cure for this horrible disease.
Let’s do this and beat this together
